با توجه به وجود لرزش به مقدار زیاد در برخی از ماشین آلات که می تواند باعث صدمات جدی در این تجهیزات گردد و به منظور جلوگیری از این صدمات سازندگان معتبر از جمله Bently nevada در این زمینه فعال هستند و دستگاه های متنوعی جهت سنجش و پایش لرزش ساخته اند که می توان به مدل های 5000، 3300، 3500، 7200 و 1200 اشاره نمود. لازم به ذکر است برخی از این مدل ها از رده ی تولید خارج شده اند.
